Mrs. Worley: Middle school P.E. Teacher
Mrs. Emily Worley was born and raised in Wasilla. She has two children: Abel and Laina. Both children attend American Charter. Mrs. Worley started at American Charter Academy as a Student Opportunities Associate (SOA), In 2024 she became the middle school PE teacher. Mrs. Worley has a bachelor’s degree is in physical education, health, and recreation and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Secondary Education.
For fun, Mrs. Worley enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her family. Another passion of Mrs. Worley’s is coaching; she coaches the Dive Teams for Colony and Palmer High Schools. Also, if you happen to be up early enough in the morning, you might find Mrs. Worley with her friends, hiking the Butte before school starts. Mrs. Worley said, “the year has already been so much fun; I look forward to every day with the students.”
