Mr. Martin: custodian
Mr. Steve Martin was born in Grove City, Pennsylvania. When he was 7 years old his family moved to the West Coast. His family moved when he was 12 years old to central Florida, where he graduated from high school. When Steve was 19, he enlisted in the US Army and was assigned to field artillery.
While in the army, Steve was sent to Alaska, and that is where he retired. After Steve retired from the army he worked at local high schools in Wasilla as a custodian for 5 years. After a break for 4 years, Steve started working at American Charter Academy. Steve keeps the school safe and secure and gave valuable input on AMC’s new school design.
Steve is married to Anna Martin, and they have four adult children: three daughters and a son, and 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
