Mrs. Korzhyk: Custodian
Mrs. Nataliia Korzhyk was born in the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine. In 2001, she graduated from a local school and in the same year met her husband, with whom she has been married for 23 years. After the marriage, their family moved to the city of Khmelnytskyi, where her husband is from. They lived there for about 22 years and had two sons and five daughters. In 2022, a war broke out in their country, and life around them changed. After living for about two years in a warring country, they decided to use the help of the American people and move with their family to the US and came to Alaska.
Currently, Nataliia is working as the day custodian at American Charter Academy, and her husband Ivan is a custodian at Houston High School. Their eldest daughter, Evelina, works as a cashier at Wasilla High School. Other children attend Houston High, Houston Middle, and Meadow Lakes Elementary. Their family likes a quiet and peaceful life among local nature, especially the mountains.
