Mrs. Brouse: Student opportunity associate (SOA)
Mrs. Lizeth Brouse is a Navy Veteran who holds a graduate degree in Public Health. She was born in Honduras, Central America and moved to California when she was twelve years old. She lived in California for ten years, and at age twenty-two she joined the U.S. Navy and moved to Virginia where she lived for four years. While in Virginia, Mrs. Brouse met her husband who was serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. Though Mr. Brouse recently retired, during his military service, the Brouse family lived in Virginia, Florida, Oregon, and Kodiak, Alaska where they lived for eleven years.
Mrs. Brouse worked one year for the Astoria School District in Oregon as an English Language Development (ELD) assistant and two and half years as a substitute and Spanish translator for the Kodiak School District. Mrs. Brouse has three daughters: Breanna, Miley and Sierra. Mrs. Brouse is happy to be in Wasilla and enjoys her position as a Student Opportunities Associate (SOA) who supports students in classrooms.at American Charter Academy
